Linking to a Title Image in your video
You can link to a .jpg or .gif in the Clipstream™ Video applet to appear at the beginning of the video or at the end. This is a useful way to include your client's branding or to include instructions.

Requirements
  • A Clipstream™ Video applet.
  • An existing .jpg or .gif
  • .

    - OR -

    A graphic editing program (ex.Photoshop).
  • Access to a web server hosting Clipstream™.
Linking a Beginning and/or End Graphic
Have a graphic appear at the beginning of the Clipstream™ Video applet and at the end.
  1. Upload a suitable graphic (.jpg or .gif) to your webserver.
  2. Open up and edit the Clipstream™ Video applet code for the video which will link to the graphic.
  3. Insert this line into the applet code:

    <param name="VideoTitleImageURL" value="yourtitleimage.jpg">

  4. Where it says "yourtitleimage.jpg" include a relative link to the graphic you uploaded.

    ex.
    <param name="VideoTitleImageURL" value="images/yourtitleimage.jpg">

    Note: the graphic titleimage file must be located on the same server as your applet.

  5. Save your page and upload it.

    You should see an image at the beginning of the video.

    Note: If your video is set to AutoPlay then the image will only briefly show up during the buffering.

For an image at the end of the video, follow the same steps as above but use VideoTitleImageEndURL. You can have both End and beginning image parameters.
